Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how personal data is collected, used, and shared in connection with Peter, also known as Agent Peter / Peter the Protocol Reader ("Peter"), including the Peter website located at https://agentpeter.ai and the Peter mobile application (together, the "Peter Services").

Peter is an AI-assisted tool designed to help authorized users locate, reference, and summarize information from clinical study documents. Peter is assistive in nature, and its outputs are intended to support, not replace, human review and decision-making.

Peter is provided by Care Access Research LLC ("Care Access"), an affiliate of Reify Health, Inc. ("Reify Health"). Peter is integrated with the OneStudyTeam platform, which is operated by Reify Health. Depending on how you access and use the Peter Services, personal data may be processed by Care Access, Reify Health, or both, as described below.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to:

  • The Peter website
  • The Peter mobile application
  • App-level interactions, identifiers, and telemetry associated with Peter

This policy does not replace or override other applicable privacy policies, including:

  • The OneStudyTeam Privacy Policy, which governs personal data processed through or in connection with the OneStudyTeam platform; and
  • The Care Access Privacy Policy, which governs personal data processed in connection with Care Access services outside of Peter.

When Peter is accessed through or integrated with the OneStudyTeam platform, personal data is processed in accordance with the OneStudyTeam Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.onestudyteam.com/privacy-policy/en-us

3. Roles and Responsibilities

Reify Health, Inc. is the parent company of Care Access and its affiliates. The company maintains centralized privacy governance.

Care Access acts as a data controller for certain personal data collected directly through the Peter Services, such as app-level identifiers and usage data, independent of the OneStudyTeam platform.

OneStudyTeam, an affiliate of Reify Health, Inc., acts as a data controller or data processor, as applicable, for personal data processed when Peter is used in connection with the OneStudyTeam platform, in accordance with applicable customer agreements and the OneStudyTeam Privacy Policy.

4. Personal Data Collected

The Peter Services may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identifiers
    • User IDs or account identifiers
    • Authentication credentials or tokens, including OAuth-based authentication where applicable
  • Usage and Interaction Data
    • Product interaction data, such as features used and queries submitted
    • App functionality metrics
    • App Information and Diagnostics
  • Crash logs
    • Performance and diagnostic data
    • Error reporting and troubleshooting information
  • Device or Other Technical Identifiers
    • Device identifiers or similar technical data used to support security and app functionality

Peter does not intentionally collect financial information, precise geolocation data, biometric identifiers, or sensitive personal characteristics such as race, religion, or political beliefs.

5. How Personal Data Is Used

Personal data collected through the Peter Services is used to:

  • Provide and operate the Peter Services
  • Support AI-assisted functionality, such as document analysis and summarization
  • Maintain security, reliability, and performance
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Improve Peter features and usability, including insights
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Peter's AI-assisted functionality is designed to be non-autonomous. Outputs are intended to support human users and must be reviewed and validated by those users.

6. AI-Assisted Functionality

Peter uses AI-assisted technology to help users locate and summarize information from study documents. These features are assistive only, do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals, do not replace review of original source documents, and are subject to human oversight and validation.

Personal data processed in connection with AI-assisted functionality is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy, applicable law, and Reify Health's agreements with customers and service providers.

7. Data Sharing

Reify Health and its affiliates do not sell personal data collected through the Peter Services. Personal data is shared only with third parties that process data on Reify Health or its affiliates' behalf, under contractual obligations to use the data solely to provide services to Reify Health and not for their own independent purposes.

Personal data may be shared with:

  • Service providers and subprocessors that support hosting, security, analytics, and AI-assisted functionality, under written agreements that require appropriate confidentiality and data protection safeguards
  • OneStudyTeam, where Peter is used in connection with the OneStudyTeam platform
  • Regulatory or law enforcement authorities, where required by law

8. Data Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to protect personal data processed through the Peter Services. Data transmitted through the Peter Services is encrypted in transit.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Peter Services, support legitimate business purposes, and comply with applicable legal requirements, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

10. Privacy Rights

Individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data Reify Health processes in connection with the Peter Services by contacting: privacyofficer@onestudyteam.com

Where Peter accounts are linked to or managed through the OneStudyTeam platform, account deletion and data requests are handled in accordance with the OneStudyTeam Privacy Policy.

11. Children's Privacy

Peter is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updates will be posted on the Peter website and will take effect upon publication.
